Core UI system is multithreaded and APIs are extremely performant. Makepad contains a new kind of JS editor that is symbolic, but still feels like a text editor opening up the future path to design-tools operating on the same source. Working demo can be found at Makepad.github.io/makepad.html, all technology Apache2/MIT licensed. In this talk the inner workings and future of makepad will be presented.
