The modern Web technology become more about software components and applications, then Hypertext. Even one-page websites are being built using Virtual DOM, React or Web components entirely in JavaScript programming language. Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are coming into Web browser with the help of React VR and A-Frame libraries. Someone could easily create a rich VR app or static website declaratively. So, Web apps become more like desktop apps with all advantages and disadvantages of application-centric approach. On the contrary Virtual World’s concept in software domain represent the new computational paradigm and shift application creation to the new level. Virtual Worlds blurs the borders between application and hosted environment, runtime and development mode. The Virtual World’s paradigm in conjunction with Web technologies offers to both programmers and domain experts nearly unlimited capabilities for creating novel computer-based simulated environments just in Web browser. Virtual time, user-defined meta language, live coding, avatar, self-explaratory environment become the new crucial concepts of the Web applications. So, that Web could conformally suits the modern human computer interaction domain or Virtual Being simply.

Nikolai Suslov is a software engineer and computer science researcher at Fund for Supporting Development of RT. His work is focus on virtual worlds software architecture, user-oriented self-exploratory integrated development environments, live coding, human computer interaction, virtual reality. He is the creator of Krestianstvo SDK project and virtual learning environment based on it. His works were presented at several International conferences: Live Interfaces (ICLI’16), Live Coding (ICLC’15), Future Programming Workshop (SPLASH FPW’14), Conference on Creating, Connecting and Collaborating through Computing (C5’12). From 2005-2008 he was an active participant of European Smalltalk User Group conferences (ESUG). He is an author of several multimedia discs and installations for art museums.
